Tips For a Winning Entry

You're ready to enter a creative program that has produced results. You've read all the information and understand what's required. How can you maximize your chances of receiving the Compass Award?

Appearances Count. Maximize the impact of your Work Sample by packaging it within a three ring binder as professionally as possible.
Please note: One 3-ring binder per entry.

A Blueprint for Success. Remember that the Work Blueprint and the Work Sample carry equal weight in scoring. Prepare a complete, well-written Work Blueprint and you greatly increase your chance of receiving an award. Make sure you include each required section and cover the necessary information as clearly as possible. Be certain to include as many relevant details as possible (particularly in the "Measuring/Evaluating Success" section).

Follow the 3 Cs. Your entry should communicate clearly, comprehensively and concisely. Who knows this better than you, a marketing or communications professional!
