  TMCA Names Martha Anderson Chairperson of Newly Formed Recognition Committee
   
 
  (MINNEAPOLIS)— The Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) recently named Martha Anderson as the association’s chairperson of its newly formed Recognition Committee. This committee oversees the management of the TMCA Compass Awards, the industry’s premier marketing and communications awards program, as well as other recognition strategies. Anderson is creative director for James Street Associates, a specialized logistics advertising agency based in Chicago.

“Martha Anderson’s creativity and vast experience in the transportation and logistics industry makes her the ideal candidate for this position,” said Brian Everett, chief executive officer of TMCA. “She has been actively involved over the past several years as a Compass Judging Team Leader, and understands the important role TMCA plays in demonstrating the value of marketing in the transportation industry.” Anderson is responsible for the branding and creative direction of client programs at James Street Associates, and has developed award-winning, results-oriented marketing communications programs for leading companies in the supply chain management industry, including Amtrak, Alliance Shippers, AllTranstek, Data2Logistics, GE Rail Services, P&O Nedlloyd, Operation Lifesaver, Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, Mallory Alexander International Logistics, Railinc, Rescar, Thrall Car and Vapor Bus, among others.

Anderson has been a TMCA member since 1997 and also is an active member of her community. She graduated with a B.A. in fine art from Columbia College, Chicago.
